MS Bike Ride Mustache CD
In 2008 Taylor Baldry participated in the Bike MS: Allianz Twin Cities Ride in support of a friend who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He solicited friends, family and co-workers for contributions. As an fundraising incentive, Baldry offered to don a fake mustache for the entire 60 mile ride, if he exceeded his fundraising goal. All contributors received a copy of Baldry’s MS Bike Mustache Ride Mix Vol. I, packaged in a watercolor painting/thank-you letter.
In the end Baldry exceeded his goal of $312.44 and raised $720. The ride itself was windy, rainy and his mustache fell off at mile 25 due to excessive upper-lip sweat, but it was an exciting project and Baldry is extremely grateful to everyone that contributed.
