MN Artists
MN Artists is home to art, writing, opportunities and conversation, online and off, by, for and about Midwestern artists working in every discipline.
MN Artists commissioned me to create an original “edu-taining” video series that featured topics in art history while also celebrating (and poking fun of) Minnesota culture. Inspired by Bill Nye the Science Guy and Mystery Science Theater 3000, the series followed host Taylor, who was indentured to the nefarious Zorn Corporation and forced to create educational art history videos while trapped in the Pangaea Station, hundreds of miles beneath the surface of Minneapolis.
role: writer, performer, producer
In the first installment of the Pangaea Station, Taylor discusses a topic that bears a lot of weight in art history.
About the series:
The Pangaea Station Art Education Video Series is a "fun-ducational" video series hosted by Taylor Baldry, produced by the Zorn Corporation in partnership with mnartists.org. Each episode aims to bring good times together with fun art history facts. The series is filmed beneath Minneapolis, Minnesota in the Pangaea Station: a subterranean, mobile, geo-practical facility.
In this episode, Taylor discusses two of his favorite ladies.
